------------------------------- MINUTES -------------------------------------
Bob Ross conducted the meeting.
Weston Beal recorded the minutes.

Call for IBIS related patent disclosures:
 - None

Review of previous meeting minutes:
Minutes from the 02 May 2023 meetings were reviewed. Weston Beal moved to
approve the minutes. Bob Ross seconded. Without objection the minutes were
approved.

Call for opens:
 none

AR review:
 - Weston will check with Atul on the idea of 2 error or warning messages for
   loading AMI executables.
sent email. waiting on Atul. Weston will follow-up.
 - Bob and Randy will create 2 bug reports for the EMD NC signal issues.
done. Randy sent files with bug reports to show 2 different bugs.

New ARs:
 none

Discussion:
a.	IBISCHK720 – Test Randy’s 7.2 Files, Randy Wolff and Bob Ross work on two
BUG reports related to a Warning for a legal syntax and a Caution message
	for an [EMD Pin List].

Bob reviewed the BUG244 report to show the example of an NC signal_type in
EMD [Designator Pin List] that is legal but ibischk720 calls a warning.
The use of NC in signal_name is still a warning. Randy noted that it
should be allowed to have signal_name equal NC when the signal_type for
the same pin is NC, but not to have only signal_name as NC. That should be
	a warning.

Bob showed BUG245 report. Ibischk should issue an error if signal_type is
NC and the pin is used as a terminal in an [EMD Model]. This bug should
look for the signal_name connected to a terminal of any [EMD Model] and
	issue an error.

b.	Generate other executables, upload on IBIS Site
    - Done

c.	Pending BUG regarding Platform in AMI – Weston Beal will investigate
further and possibly propose two messages, one for simply loading the
library and another for architecture incompatibility.

We are waiting for a response from Atul. Weston will follow-up later to
	discuss this issue.

d.	Graham Kus from Mathworks reported a Warning message during architecture
    compile with:
“<file name> warning: variable ‘<variable name>’ set but not used
	[-Wunused-but-set-variable]

The group agrees that we need more information about the procedure that
created this warning. Mic Shaeder said that the warning looks like gcc
results, probably used on Linux. It would be a good idea to correct this
warning, but it doesn't seem to be a serious problem at this point.

e.	Quality Specification and checklist power-aware discussion (continuation)
Weston said that he did not get feedback after the SPI IBIS summit
presentation. He is working on a final draft of the quality specification
with the level 4 updates. There is a question about interactions or
dependencies on [Merged Pins] with pin groups created in pin mapping or
IBIS version 7.0 and later signal_name groups. Mic commented that he has
checked some of this recently. Doing the check in C is difficult but easy
to check in a language that intrincsically supports sets. We don't know at
this point if ibischk already checks these conditions. We need to find out
if ibischk does this or not. The specification will include a requirement
	if needed.

Tabled topics (no discussion without motion):
a.	Secure Development Lifecycle (SDL) investigation (Security fixes
    continuation), (TSCHK2, BUG6)
b.	TSCHK2 V2.02 BUG5 and BUG6 (implementation on hold)

Weston moved to adjourn. Bob seconded. Without objection the meeting ended.

Meeting ended: 1:05 pm ET

Next meeting 23 MAY 2023
